¡Cada persona importa! // Every person matters!

 A Word of Welcome.
You are welcome and we thank you for giving us the opportunity to share with you about the Bilingual Ministry Espanol that Kearney eFree church is developing. We hope this information will allow you to know us and it will help you to understand why we do what we do.

What We Are About?
We want to be people who radically reorient our lives around Christ in a community that loves, serves, and shares Jesus with the people in their spheres of influence.
We want to be a community that gathers together, as family, in environments that are directed by God’s Word, are fluent in the gospel, are relational (growing in what it means to live as a family) and are on mission.
As a family, we want to give our lives for the purpose of making disciples (Matthew 4:19) who then make disciples in the city and the world until Christ returns.

Our Mission
“Building a transformational community by growing in love with Christ and all people.”

Our Core Values
Truth. Gospel. Community. Mission.
Four core values describe who we are and strive to become. They describe the picture we hope we are moving towards, by God’s grace working in us. They are the foundation of all our ministries, and drive our mission. We are praying that these deeply held values would intersect every aspect of our lives together.

Truth
Truth is objective and transforms lives.
We are a community desiring to live according to the inspired Word of God where the search for truth is approached with grace and love. We believe that the ancient narratives, letters and poems in the Bible are true. We affirm that the central truths of the historic Christian faith are true and simultaneously seek to engage rationally with the cultural challenges raised by living in a complex world. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 14:6; John 17:17; 18:37; 1 John 3:18; Philippians 4:5.)

Gospel
The Gospel is Good News, not Good Religion.
Through belief in the gospel we are transformed into a right relationship with our amazing God. Through a deepening belief in the gospel we are set free from habits that hurt us and those around us. Therefore, the gospel is central to every aspect of our lives and our church. We allow the gospel to inform and transform every aspect of our lives together to move us from orienting our lives around self to orienting our lives around Christ (1 Peter 2:9; 1 Corinthians 1:17; Romans 1:16; Colossians 4:3-6.)

Community
Community is more than a meeting; it is the context for life change.
We want to be a life-giving community where everyone is loved and cared for. We value honesty, transparency and authenticity as we engage God’s Word, in our relationships with one another. Our desire is to equip each person to do the work of ministry. The credibility of the Gospel of Jesus is explicitly tethered to the quality of our lives together as Christ followers. (John 13:34-35; 1 John 1:5-7; Acts 4:32-35.)

Mission
The Church exists for Mission; the Mission is to make Disciples.
Because our lives are being transformed by Christ, our single-minded mission is to live our lives around Christ and His mission of making disciples. Therefore, our schedules, resources and decisions are collectively built around reaching people intentionally, both locally and globally. We want to be engaged in the mission of Jesus through sharing Christ by connecting with people through relationships, training people to minister to both those in the church and in the world, and releasing people to purposefully disciple others in following Jesus. (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; John 4:34; Ephesians 4:11-12)
